A spec commercial for arguably the best drummakers in the world, DW Drums.
Our Take
Being former percussionists, both Igor and Tushar joined hands once again to make a spec ad for their favourite drums brand, DW Drums. Being between gigs, it seemed like a fun project and a perfect chance to explore some of the National forests around Los Angeles. Tipping our hats to ‘Dear Brother’, a Johnnie Walker Spec film, and armed with only a fraction of its budget, we set out to make a short spec inspired by the inherent nature of seekers and (literal) trailblazers, in the pursuit of something great, often hidden in plain sight (and perhaps within us all). Drawing from these elements, and visually set in the wilderness, we have tried to evoke a sense of adventure and true passion.
