As someone who has struggled with bouts of delayed action due to matters of perfection and/or procrastination, the idea that one could set things in motion, even if one is a complete novice or ‘bad’ at something, offered a sense of mental liberation. For this video I wanted to mimic my reality, as I had had a moment of clarity a few days prior during a run, after days of suffering procrastination on some work. I made my reality into story, shot myself during an actual morning as I was getting to ready to go for a quick run, laid my V.O. over the different shots I had gathered from my run and voila! I had a video.
