Our Take
This is a song about the dark voices in our heads, the seemingly harmless devil that lives within us. Manipuri rapper TWINQ shows us a personal take on this, speaking about his own inner demons and sharing a complicated relationship with his mother. Director-choreographer Himangini Puri has had a history of working in abstract dance performances and movements, and she uses the same sensibilites here for her debut music video, albeit without dancers. The video explores concepts of faith and inner perversion, abstract images and visual metaphors - all shot on location in Mumbai, and with makeshift sets. We were more than happy to give visual life to this track through cinematography and post-production.
